About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and customer satisfaction
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and a high-quality dining experience
    • Address customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures
    • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to identify and address any potential hazards
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
    • Post-secondary education in culinary arts or a related field
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff
