We are looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Closing the Gap Healthcare, providing face-to-face and virtual home-based services to adult clients in Newmarket, Aurora, and King City.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an independent and flexible SLP who can work with clients using standardized assessment tools, design personalized care plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. You will have full control over your schedule, allowing you to build a practice that suits your needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessments in home settings based on presenting impairments or diagnoses.
  • Design evidence-based care plans for clients with various concerns, including those recovering from stroke or neurological issues.
  • Partner with family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Flexible organizational skills, excellent communication and analytic skills, and experience providing home-based services (asset).

  • An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
