Key Responsibilities:

As a Communication Specialist, you will provide assessments in home settings based on presenting impairments or diagnoses using standardized assessment tools. You will work with individuals with various concerns, including those recovering from stroke or neurological problems.

You will design care plans using evidence-based information, best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise. This role requires flexible scheduling to accommodate face-to-face and virtual sessions.

You will partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and analytic skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience providing home-based services (an asset). Graduates of recognized post-secondary programs in Speech Language Pathology are welcome to apply.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Flexible and good organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits:
