Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Maxi. As a key member of our HR and accounting team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to colleagues and management, responding to HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform basic accounting duties, including payroll and accounts payable, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, and orientations, to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee databases, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Support office duties as assigned by the Store Manager, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to improve processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with company systems and processes is an asset.
  • Availability to work days and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, with a commitment to contributing to team results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
