The role of a Financial Services Specialist - Portfolio Manager is to support investment advisors in delivering superior customer service, meet client requests, and carry out routine operations related to financial transactions. This includes purchases and sales of securities, transaction adjustments, deposit, withdrawal, transfer, and currency conversion instructions for all investment accounts.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting investment advisors in providing exceptional customer service and meeting client requests
  • Carrying out routine operations related to financial transactions, including purchases and sales of securities and transaction adjustments
  • Managing deposit, withdrawal, transfer, and currency conversion instructions for all investment accounts
  • Analyzing, opening, and updating client files
  • Producing portfolio management reports
  • Managing client files, including scheduling appointments and preparing client meetings
  • Ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management rules

The ideal candidate will have a completed college and/or university diploma in a related field, two years of relevant experience in the banking, insurance, and/or financial industry, and completion of the Canadian Securities Course. Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and exceptional customer service skills are also required.
