Job Title: Financial Recovery Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role in financial services? Do you have a passion for resolving complex financial issues? We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Recovery Specialist to join our team at Alterfina.

Job Summary:

The Financial Recovery Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company in various tasks related to the processing of overdue accounts and the recovery of collateral. This includes communicating with delinquent payers to negotiate payment agreements, securing our warranty with the support of external partners, and informing payers of the consequences of non-payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and negotiate customer accounts to provide the best solutions to regularize their accounts and/or minimize our losses;
  • Take incoming and outgoing customer calls to resolve financial issues;
  • Answer customer questions and document all relevant information;
  • Use various communication channels to deal with customers with overdue payments and accounts;
  • Locate customers using different tracking tools;
  • Determine the most appropriate repayment plan based on the customer's ability to pay;
  • Support the preparation of legal documents;
  • Manage work inventory and prioritize files to be worked on;
  • Listen actively and determine the action to be taken;
  • Protect the company's interests by ensuring compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures;
  • Meet productivity and quality standards;
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or related to the position.
Requirements:
  • DES combined with knowledge and understanding of the financial environment (credit history) or any other relevant finance-related training;
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar role, enabling you to quickly familiarize yourself with collections;
