Job Title: User Support Technician

At The Plaza Hotel, we are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and guests, ensuring that our hotel's IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Resolve technical problems encountered by users, providing timely and effective support to staff and guests for IT-related queries and issues.
  • Configure and maintain hotel network infrastructure to ensure reliable internet connectivity.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to meet the hotel's operational needs.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications to meet the hotel's operational needs.
  • Provide training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard data and maintain a secure IT environment.
  • Manage printers, scanners, and other devices to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Salary: $31.00/hour.
