Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre. As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Care unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
  • Two years of acute care medical/surgical experience
  • Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
