Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
As a Sales Representative with American Iron & Metal, you will play a key role in developing the market for used vehicle purchases in the Windsor and London territories. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong ability to build relationships with suppliers and customers, as well as a keen sense of negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Solicit customers and develop a strong customer base through prospecting and relationship-building.
- Build lasting relationships with dealerships, garages, body shops, impound yards, and auctions.
- Negotiate purchasing conditions and ensure good communication with other departments.
- Work closely with the call center and logistics team to exceed purchasing goals.
Requirements
- Hold a postsecondary diploma.
- Have a valid G class driver's license and a good driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in outside sales and prospecting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Numeracy and mental math skills.
- Relationship building acumen.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
