Job Title: Oracle EBS Projects Functional Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Projects Functional Developer to join our team at S I Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with business analysts and technical development teams to design and implement functional solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite, with a focus on the Oracle Projects module.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee configurations and provide support to align business processes with the Oracle ERP Procurement system.
  • Recommend Oracle EBS functionality and capabilities to meet business requirements and improve processes.
  • Propose solution designs based on Oracle best practices, using out-of-the-box functionality and extensions where necessary.
  • Conduct impact analysis and develop strategies for managing changes during new system implementations or functional changes.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of E-Business solutions, working closely with developers, testers, and support analysts.
  • Develop and execute test strategies/plans with quality assurance analysts.
  • Monitor Oracle patch releases and provide impact assessments.
  • Provide post-implementation support and assist operations support teams.
  • Support management in prioritizing resources and managing project dependencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience in configuring and/or developing extensions for Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Functional experience with Oracle EBS R12.
  • Experience with Oracle Projects module.
  • Experience in systems analysis, software development, and/or system implementation roles.
  • Involvement in at least one major upgrade and/or module implementation project.
  • Exposure or experience with Oracle ERP Procurement System and/or Oracle Cloud Project Financial Management.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in business, information systems, or related field.
