Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Developer to join our team at the University of Alberta. As a key member of our Information Services & Technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level solutions using Oracle Cloud Services and PeopleSoft 9.2 Applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical analysis, design, and development of enterprise applications and solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Configure, develop, and modify applications, components, integrations, reports, and bolt-on solutions using various programming languages.
  • Ensure adherence to application, data, and integration development methodologies and standards.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to functional staff, external resources, and business areas.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical qualifications in implementing and/or supporting enterprise resource planning systems and/or student information systems.
  • Five or more years of experience in configuring, developing, integrating, implementing, and supporting large-scale and complex enterprise-level technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.58 and associated developer tools and technology.
  • Demonstrated systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
