We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Developer to join our team at the University of Alberta. Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical analysis, design, and development of enterprise applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain complex software applications, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Provide expert technical advice and guidance to functional staff, external resources, and business areas on the use of enterprise applications.
- Mentor and coach junior developers to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong technical qualifications in implementing and/or supporting enterprise resource planning systems and/or student information systems.
- Five or more years of experience in configuring, developing, integrating, implementing, and supporting large-scale and complex enterprise-level technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.58 and associated developer tools and technology, including PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Messaging, Integration Broker, Web Services, and Security Administration.
