Business Development Executive

We are looking for a highly motivated and competitive Business Development Executive to join our team at Challenger Motor Freight Inc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of over-achieving quota and excellent communication skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and wants to make a real impact on the company's growth. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting profitable sales growth and identifying new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
The successful candidate will have experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software and be proficient with corporate productivity tools. They will also have strong teamwork skills and be able to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities.
We estimate that this role will come with an annual salary of $70,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Identifying Sales Prospects for further development and closure
- Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
Qualifications:
- Proven Business Development Experience in the Transportation industry (TL Sales)
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Proficient with corporate productivity tools and web presentation software
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task
- Effective teamwork skills
- Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities
