Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at KKetchum Consulting. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our daycare programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including light cleaning duties and ensuring the proper use of daycare equipment.
  • Develop and implement activities that encourage children to express their creativity through art, music, and physical activity.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements
  • High Five training (principles of healthy child development)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Immunization records
