Job Title: Childcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at KKetchum Consulting. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare programs, ensuring the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various activities, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
  • Perform light cleaning duties and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • High Five training (principles of healthy child development)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
