Job Overview

Peninsula Canada is a leading provider of external HR and OHS solutions, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Health & Safety Field Consultant to join our team. As a Field Consultant, you will be providing expert advice, support, and recommendations to our clients in the Vancouver and surrounding areas, helping them to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This is a field-based role, and you will be working closely with our health and safety advice team to provide expert support and guidance to clients.

Responsibilities

As a Health & Safety Field Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert advice and support to clients on health and safety matters, including conducting site visits and providing recommendations for improvement
• Working closely with our health and safety advice team to provide expert support and guidance to clients
• Conducting site visits to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement
• Providing training and guidance to clients on health and safety procedures and protocols
• Maintaining accurate records and reports of client interactions and site visits

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in health and safety, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. You will also need to have a degree, diploma, or certificate from an accredited education or health and safety training program, as well as CRST/CRSP certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in dealing with government enforcement agencies, are also essential.
