Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician to join our team at qathet General Hospital in Powell River, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake functions for designated treatment programs to ensure linkages between clients and resources.
- Perform initial screening, triage, and referrals based on client needs and best practices.
- Provide information to health providers and the public, establish relationships with community resources, and maintain client records.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in a related health science discipline.
- Three years' recent experience in the designated program area or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Registration with a provincial licensing/governing body of the profession where applicable.
