THE ROLE:
JOIN A DYNAMIC TEAM, The Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, meet the highest cleanliness standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Foster 100% guest satisfaction by delivering genuine hospitality and exceeding expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in accordance with brand guidelines across all housekeeping areas.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and professional development of housekeeping staff, including performance evaluations and standard communication.
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas, providing constructive feedback to staff to promote positive reinforcement.
- Schedule staff based on occupancy forecasts and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage inventory levels of linens and cleaning supplies, assisting with ordering and monthly inventory checks.
- Ensure timely communication of clean and available rooms to the Guest Services Department.
- Document and relay maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department to uphold service quality standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring follow-up for satisfaction.
- Uphold company policies and effectively communicate them to team members.
- Provide training on safety, security, and departmental procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Health and Safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a proven record of achieving results.
- Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to quality and exceptional guest service.
