Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physically demanding.
