About the Role:

As a Planning Manager at Sephora Canada, you will be a key partner to the Merchant in driving growth and leading brand planning. You will collaborate with operations and logistics experts to deliver beauty products to clients across the country. Your role will involve mentoring a high-performing team to achieve business objectives, creating pre-season brand budget plans, and owning monthly in-season open-to-buy forecasts. You will also lead store-level forecasts and orders, analyze inventory needs, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive overall allocation and merchandise strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with Director, Merchants, and vendors to create pre-season brand budget plans
  • Own monthly in-season open-to-buy forecasts and store-level forecasts and orders
  • Analyze and validate inventory needs for animations, promos, and overall assortment productivity
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive overall allocation and merchandise strategy

Requirements:
  • Experience in planning and/or buying with at least 5 years in the retail space
  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in business, retail management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to find solutions to problems
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
