Landscaping Team Lead

The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers and gardeners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
- Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate with clients to plan and execute events, programs, and activities that showcase our landscaping expertise.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop detailed plans and estimates for projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring high-quality results.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and track project progress, staff performance, and material usage.
- Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support project execution.
- Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Coordinate Subcontractor Activities: Work with subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of projects, meeting client expectations.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
