Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to our residents.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering resident-centered care. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care, ensuring that each individual receives the best possible care.
Responsibilities:- Assess and develop individualized care plans for residents
- Provide direct resident care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and services
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gerontological nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
