Job Summary
The Shift Manager is a key member of the Taco Bell team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during their shift. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the job, including customer service, food quality, and team member development.
- Manage Shift Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during their shift, including managing team members, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Develop Team Members: Provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
- Make Decisions: Make quick and informed decisions in a fast-paced environment, using sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Work with Management: Collaborate with management to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Requirements
- Age and Education: Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience: Minimum of two years of previous management experience, with a focus on financial results and team leadership.
- Skills and Abilities: Basic computer literacy, ability to lift 10-40 pounds, and a valid driver's license.
