Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Burger King. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help them improve their performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Operations Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and establish work schedules to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly.
- Customer Service: Perform same duties as workers supervised, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure that customers have a positive experience.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, and work collaboratively with other organizations to provide support and resources.
- Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, and storage.
- Integration Support: Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, and work collaboratively with other organizations to provide support and resources.
- Training and Development: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, and work collaboratively with other organizations to provide support and resources.
- Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Elder Support: Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
