Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Tech to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our adult inpatient care team, you will provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and observations
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and maintain professional boundaries
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques
- Participate in planning and implementation of patient groups and activities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
