Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and observations
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and maintain professional boundaries
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques
- Participate in planning and implementation of patient groups and activities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide support as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- No experience required, but one year of patient care or related experience preferred
