We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Specialists. Under the guidance of Registered Nurses, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and contributing to a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized patient care, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Engage in therapeutic activities and group sessions, fostering a supportive and healing atmosphere.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, observations, and progress notes.
  • Develop strong rapport with patients, demonstrating empathy and respect while upholding professional boundaries.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and patients.
  • Prior experience in patient care or a related field is beneficial, particularly within a psychiatric setting.
  • Strong computer skills to utilize electronic medical records systems.
