About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our Institutional division, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain ware washing, laundry, and dispensing systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen and laundry appliances, leveraging your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide safe and effective equipment use training to customers, ensuring their facilities are fully operational and teams are properly trained.
  • Manage parts inventory, use, and cost, as well as complete required reporting of service work.
Requirements
  • Completed High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years mechanical problem-solving experience, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience.
  • Flexibility to adjust your schedule and hours of work to meet the business needs of customers.
  • Ability to travel to the US for training and meetings.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required at some customer sites.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with occasional weekend and after-hour coverage. You will be required to lift up to 100 lbs, bend, stretch, and twist up to 50% of the time, and use power and hand tools up to 50% of the time.
