Job Summary

Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Management Engineer/Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement project quality control and assurance processes.
  • Ensure project documentation, including reports, minutes, and records, are accurate and complete.
  • Participate in project meetings, including project kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including Gantt charts and critical path method.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure project safety, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation.
  • Develop and implement project communication plans, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Manage project issues, including conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain project knowledge management systems, including lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in project management, including experience in planning, development, and execution of complex engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including experience with collaboration tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including physics, mathematics, and chemistry.
  • Ability to travel, including domestic and international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Professional certifications, including PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
  • Experience with project management software, including Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience with collaboration tools, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Google Workspace.
