About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position requiring 35-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and train staff, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure optimal store performance
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
