About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Regional Vice President (Wholesaler) based out of Vancouver. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and passionate individual who is excited to make a significant impact on our company's overall customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with our distribution network to drive revenue opportunities.
  2. Reach out to and service our core advisors, building and growing these assets and attracting new advisors.
  3. Develop specific account and business plans for each advisor, outlining their critical success factors that ultimately result in additional sales and a positive customer experience.
  4. Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date advisor fund flows within the territory to identify trends and provide suggestions to advisors to retain assets.
  5. Provide effective product and sales support to cultivate relationships and drive sales, achieving or exceeding activity targets and sales goals.
  6. Proactively identify and implement new sales ideas, concepts, and solutions, profiling advisors, uncovering needs, and determining cross-sell opportunities.
  7. Consistently maintain top levels of activity and sales results, developing and sustaining strong relationships with financial advisors.
  8. Provide support to dealers and brokers on market and fund performance, as well as portfolio profiles, value-added programs, products, and corporate updates.
  9. Stay current with changes in the market and incorporate that knowledge into conversations with advisors, effectively communicating advantages and opportunities when presented with competitive situations.
  10. Create and deliver effective sales presentations and conference calls to promote our investment products.
  11. Manage yearly budgets to achieve yearly objectives.
  12. Maintain timely and accurate records of all advisor activity.
  13. Weekend and evening presentations may be required.
  14. Travel may be necessary.
Your Qualifications:
  1. University degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  2. Solid knowledge of the investment industry, combined with a minimum of 5 years of Wholesaler experience or industry equivalent.
  3. Established relationships with IIROC advisors in the Vancouver, Lower Mainland, and/or BC Okanagan regions.
  4. Strong capital markets knowledge, particularly of the stock and bond markets and how they relate to mutual funds, ETFs, and Alternatives.
  5. Knowledge of advanced investment products preferred.
  6. Proven sales ability with effective customer relationship-building skills.
  7. Team player and self-starter, highly motivated, and results-driven.
  8. Demonstrates a high level of independence and creativity.
  9. Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
  10. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, effective listening skills, and excellent presentation skills.
  11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  12. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Salesforce.
  13. Advanced certification, CFA, MBA, CFP, or CIM preferred.
Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 annually. Salaries will vary based on factors such as position location and candidate experience/qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive total compensation package, which includes variable compensation, benefits, and retirement savings plans.
