We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This part-time position will provide administrative support to Members of Parliament, committees, and special conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative services, including reception, photocopying, faxing, assembling, stapling, distributing, and inserting documents, as well as distributing office supplies.
- Collect and deliver documents, both urgent and regular, to and from the Parliament Hill.
- Work variable hours between 0 and 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hours determined by parliamentary sessions.
The work periods are from mid-September to mid-December, and from late January to late June. The operational needs are interrupted during the summer and between parliamentary sessions.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $ to $ (the salary for this position is currently under review).
