This experience and understanding of the Rail & Transit sector, combined with our expertise in P3 contracts models in Canada, enable us to take a strategic approach to expanding our business in other infrastructure sectors.

The role of the Business Development Director will play a pivotal part in expanding our existing clients and project base in Canada and positioning our company to acquire new business in Mobility sectors in Canada.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Business Development Management team, local leaders, and report directly to our CEO based in Toronto to continue our growth and success in Canada.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop objectives and strategies in support of overall business development management goals in target market segments, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans.
  2. Contribute to the growth of Sener en Ingeniería in Canada through business development, key pursuit, and sales strategy.
  3. Lead and/or conduct business development efforts, including market research, client relationships, teaming process, bid development, and contract acquisition.
  4. Utilize, maintain, and monitor the opportunity pipeline to optimize business development plans.
  5. Earn a strong local reputation through established relationships and leadership support.

Requirements:

  • Elite Business Development and relationship building skills.
  • 8-10 years of experience in business development at the Director or Senior Manager level.
  • Deep knowledge of the local business market from a technical and business standpoint.
  • A proven track record of establishing and maintaining client relationships in the Canadian rail civil engineering market.
  • Business analytical skills and knowledge of advanced negotiating approaches and tactics.
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Engineering background in Civil or Rail Engineering is an asset.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
