We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care at our Reactivation Care Centre.
The ideal candidate will be accountable for delivering safe and effective nursing care to patients with less complex needs, demonstrating more predictable outcomes, and being at lower risk for negative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Practice according to nursing practice expectations set by William Osler Health System, regulatory practice standards of the College of Nurses, and legislative requirements.
- Provide professional, patient-centred care to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to implement plans of care and prevent decline in patient levels of function and ADLs.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Sound knowledge of nursing process, theory, and responsibilities to the nursing profession.
- BCLS required.
- Recent Medicine experience within the last 5 years, with a minimum of 2 years in Acute Medicine required.
Our competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $35.29-$38.16 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
