Job SummaryThis leadership role plays a crucial part in mentoring and guiding the multi-disciplinary team in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing administrative duties, promoting staff development, and contributing to high standards of quality and optimal patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities- Performing financial/administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient unit operation
- Contributing to staff development by promoting a supportive/collaborative learning environment
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care outcomes
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong ability to mentor and guide others. You should also have a solid understanding of adult learning principles and practice standards for nurses, students, and ancillary staff.
