Our team is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Coordinator to join our Business Development team in Calgary, Alberta. This position plays a key role in supporting the Business Development and Sales teams, contributing to sales growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver compliant customer submissions that meet business objectives.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal reviews to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gather inputs for proposals.
  • Collaborate with other business units to share information and best practices that enhance proposal development.
  • Contribute to messaging and brand adherence across various customer submissions.
  • Monitor commercial, provincial/territorial, federal, and international bid boards to identify potential opportunities for ATCO Frontec.
  • Assemble proposal teams and organize kick-off meetings to ensure a structured approach to proposal development.
  • Manage the proposal response process, coordinating inputs from various departments and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct in-process proposal reviews, coordinating edits and inputs to ensure high-quality output.
  • Coach proposal teams on persuasive writing and proposal best practices to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • In collaboration with the Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams, develop input for various customer submissions while maintaining brand adherence.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree in Communication, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to lead the planning, production, and delivery of compliant proposals within a complex business environment.
  • Experience in scheduling and executing proposal kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings/final document reviews, coordinating proposal sign-off, and delivering completed proposals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and desktop publishing tools.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and Salesforce would be considered an asset.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
