About the Role

As a Senior Healthcare Architect at Arcadis, you will be part of a highly qualified team working on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, across Canada, and the USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading multiple project teams consisting of architects, job captains, and intern architects to deliver high-quality healthcare solutions.
  • Reviewing drawings and specifications for quality control and mentoring staff in applicable building codes and construction details.
  • Completing feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications, and contract documents for tender.
  • Meeting with clients and representing the firm at various working groups and leading presentations.
  • Overseeing the contract administration phase of the work and administering the construction contract on behalf of the client.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in the architectural field.
  • Licensed Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable building codes.
  • Detailed understanding of all phases of project delivery and delivery models such as Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management.
  • Advanced Revit skills are a benefit.
  • Excellent communication skills are a requirement.
  • Proposal writing is a plus.
