BIM Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to collaborate with our team in shaping the future of design excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction methods and means, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach and mentor project teams in the use of BIM technology.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific content libraries.
  • Collaborate with the BIM team to improve our Revit template.
  • Ensure adherence to project BIM Execution Plans and workflows.
  • Manage project models to maintain a healthy BIM database.
  • Conduct clash detection and conflict resolution.
  • Extract model data for CoBie and dRofus.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-year College diploma or University degree from a recognized architectural program.
  • 2 years of progressive work experience in an architectural office or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Revit.
  • Ability to read 2D working drawings.
  • Understanding of common building components and how they are assembled.
  • Multitasking and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • BIM visual programming platforms such as Dynamo are an asset.
