Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse to join our team in the Mississauga, Halton, and Central West area.
Job DescriptionThis is a specialized nursing role that requires expertise in wound, ostomy, and continence care. As a member of our interprofessional team, you will provide holistic assessment and management services to individuals with complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive assessments of clients with wound, ostomy, and/or continence related concerns.
- Develop and implement personalized plans of care to address client needs.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to coordinate care and reduce duplication of services.
- Provide education and mentorship experiences to build wound, ostomy, and continence knowledge within our organization.
- Facilitate the dissemination of best practices in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC-EP program certification or international equivalent.
- Current and active membership in NSWOC Canada preferred.
- RN with current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Flexibility and commitment to advancing wound, ostomy, and continence care at SE Health.
