Job Title: Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Head Cashier to join our team at G. Central Market Inc.

Job Summary:

The Head Cashier will be responsible for managing the cash handling process, supervising cashiers, and maintaining a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling: Authorize payments by cheque, order merchandise, and manage cash.
  • Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cashiers.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests and complaints.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail environment.
  • Skills: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, initiative, judgement, and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:

The Head Cashier will work in a fast-paced urban retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
