Job Title: Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at G. Central Market Inc.

Job Summary:

The Head Cashier will be responsible for managing the cash handling process, supervising cashiers, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash transactions
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cashiers
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests and complaints
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes and merchandising matters
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Work Environment:

The Head Cashier will work in a retail store environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of productivity.
