Job Title: Compliance Auditor

The Manitoba Securities Commission is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Auditor to join their team.

Job Summary:

The Compliance Auditor will be responsible for auditing registrants under The Real Estate Services Act and The Mortgage Brokers Act to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform compliance audits and finalize results
  • Review financial reports
  • Conduct investigations resulting from audits
Requirements:
  • Completion of a professional accounting program or equivalent experience
  • Diverse audit experience, including financial, compliance, and operational audits
  • Experience applying Canadian auditing standards and accounting principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience interpreting and applying legislation and regulations
  • Knowledge of the real estate and mortgage brokerage industries
  • Experience conducting investigations
Working Conditions:

The Compliance Auditor will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to travel occasionally within the Province of Manitoba.
