Job Summary:

The Manitoba Government is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Auditor to join our team. As a Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that registrants under specific Acts are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review financial reports to identify potential issues
  • Conduct investigations as needed to gather information and resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Completion of a professional accounting program or relevant education and experience
  • Diverse audit experience in financial, compliance, and operational areas
  • Knowledge of Canadian auditing standards and accounting principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in interpreting and applying legislation and regulations
  • Knowledge of real estate and mortgage brokerage industries
  • Experience in conducting investigations

Working Conditions:

The Compliance Auditor will be required to travel within the province occasionally to conduct audits and investigations.
