Job Summary:

The Optical Team Lead is a key role within the EssilorLuxottica Group, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving store success. As a Team Lead, you will be the face of the company, ensuring that customers and patients are delighted with their experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers and patients are always delighted.
  • Manage key optical and lab processes, including inventory management, customer transactions, and quality control.
  • Assist in the achievement of store success by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Lead and develop a team of optical and retail professionals, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong optical and retail experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, patients, and team members.
  • Leadership and training experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of optical and retail professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
  • LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification.
  • LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
  • Optical machinery and instruments experience.
  • Customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
