About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optician to join our team at Specsavers Opticians Dufferin Mall, Toronto. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eyecare services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert optical advice and guidance to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible eyecare solutions.
  • Conduct thorough eye exams and dispense corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses.
  • Work closely with the retail team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest optical technologies and products, and provide training to colleagues as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of our people, including student opticians and retail team members.

Requirements
  • Current registration as an Optician with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Proven experience in a retail optician role, with a strong track record of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of optical technologies and products, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
