About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Benefits Sales and Advisory Expert to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a key member of our Group and Individual Insurance MSG team, you will play a critical role in contributing to the growth of our Group Employee Benefits business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key agency partner advisors, key brokers, and top productive advisors to drive sales and growth.
  • Review contract booklets and work with group carriers' account managers to prepare market specification analysis and quotes.
  • Provide benefit solution alternatives for incumbent plans, focusing on cost savings, benefits enhancements, and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Negotiate new and/or renewal rates with group benefits providers on behalf of advisors.
  • Lead and conduct group benefits client meetings, both in-person and virtually.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Life and Accident and Sickness (A&S) license.
  • Minimum 5 to 7+ years' experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong comfort level meeting with clients in an advisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance trends.
