Job Title: Treasury Analyst
About the Role
BC Ferries is seeking a skilled Treasury Analyst to join our Finance Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing treasury strategies and providing corporate support to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate financial forecast models, including daily cash flow and liquidity requirements.
- Provide critical analysis and recommendations to Treasury management for strategic and operating decisions.
- Perform daily Treasury operations, ensuring that all transactions and activities are compliant with internal policy and financial agreements.
- Research and identify options for financial transactions to mitigate risk and optimize financial performance.
- Support the development and implementation of Treasury policies and parameters.
Requirements
You will have a strong background in finance, commerce, or a related field, with a CFA, CTP-AFP, or CPA designation preferred. 1-3 years of treasury, finance, or related experience is required. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and present recommendations to management.
