Job Title: Community Health Practice ConsultantThis role provides education, thought leadership, and consultation on clinical practice services, including orientation, training, and clinical competency assessments.
About the RoleAs a Community Health Practice Consultant, you will:
- Provide clinical expertise to nurses and allied health workers
- Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive professional nursing services
- Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines and standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Eligibility or current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
- Current certification in immunizations and communicable disease
Three (3) years of experience in community/public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses or an acceptable combination of education, training, and professional experience.
