Our Community Security Outreach Program is dedicated to supporting supportive housing initiatives, warming and cooling center programs, and other community-based projects in the Comox Valley area.

We are seeking passionate and reliable Security Guards who possess excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain positive client and public relations.

The ideal candidate will have basic experience with report writing, strong observation skills, and good time-management skills. Additionally, they will be able to work independently or as part of a team and have a good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.

JTF Security offers flexible scheduling, allowing candidates to work within their availability. We also provide 24/7 operational support to all field staff while on shift, prioritizing the safety of our team members.

This is an amazing opportunity for individuals looking to become more involved in their community. As some programs operate seasonally, we can offer both year-round and seasonal employment opportunities for candidates seeking full-time, part-time, and casual work.

All JTF Security Guards are required to hold a valid British Columbia Security License, have access to a smartphone with data while on shift, and be capable of standing or walking for extended periods when required.

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
