About the Role

Cosmic Growers Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the highest quality crops are produced while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivation and Crop Management: Supervise and coordinate the cultivation of crops on our vertical farming system, ensuring optimal growth and yield.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of farm workers and harvesting laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of farm production, finances, and quality control, providing regular reports to management.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and operation of farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest quality crops are produced.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
